Petition for Preemies

As many of you know, my nieces, Halle & Bryn, my sister's girls, were both born early and spent time in the NICU. Halle was about two weeks early and born with underdeveloped lungs. Her stay in the NICU was a few days, but still very scary. Bryn was born an entire month early with pneumonia and underdeveloped lungs. Bryn's stay in the NICU was 2 1/2 weeks. we weren't sure if she was going to make it, and it was a very scary time for our family.

Because of this, we support the March of Dimes in their efforts to raise money for research into premature birth, and I want to encourage you to do the same. Right now on the March of Dimes' website there is a Petition for Preemies that I would like to urge everyone to sign. The petition is asking for the Federal Government to provide more funding into premature birth research, and has several other requests in it.

Here is the link:

Please pass this on to everyone you know. It's a very important cause. Without the March of Dimes, these two beautiful little girls, among many others, may not be here today:

Bryn

Halle
