March For Babies April 25, 2009!!!!

As many of you may well remember, On January 15, 2008, my niece, Bryn, was born a month early with pneumonia and underdeveloped lungs. She spent a full two weeks in the NICU at Genesis East. It was a very scary time for our family.

Research for the drug Surfactant, which was administered to my sweet little niece and saved her life, was funded by the March of Dimes. Without Surfactant, Bryn may never have come home. What a scary thought. Our family feels it's vital to support the March of Dimes in their efforts to prevent premature birth, birth defects, and infant mortality. Please help us by marching with us on April 25, 2009. A minimum donation of $10 is asked if you participate in the march. If you can't march with us, please donate to this worthwhile cause.

Bryn is now 1 year old, and thriving. She has quite the attitude, which cracks us all up. She's walking everywhere, talking a bit, and she eats like it's going out of style. Oh, and she happens to love her Aunt Cortney to pieces :0) Here are a few pictures:
